WAHM Spotlight: Dagmar's Goat Milk Bath & Body Products

I love handcrafted soaps. Since discovering them, I've had a great time trying out different blends, scents and brands. As far as I can tell, Dagmar Breeden's soaps are the only ones I've tried made from goats' milk from the maker's personal goats. Dagmar's Goat Milk Bath & Body products include goat's milk from Dagmar's very own registered dairy goats.

Dagmar crafts her soap in small batches. Looking at the ingredients, you can see that her products don't contain a lot of "extra stuff." I could understand what all of them were. Check out her pictures explaining her soap-making process.

I received 2 2 oz. samples (1 soap and 1 lotion) to try out. Both were the "Roses" scent. The first thing I noticed was that the scents were pleasant without being overpowering. The soap was great to use, and even a small sample has lasted a while. Although I rarely use lotion, it was much needed. Dry, cold winter days combined with very hot showers have been leaving my skin dry and itchy. I appreciated that the lotion was light and left my skin moisturized without being greasy.

Dagmar has a Valentine's Special going on right now- 3 bars of soap for $10 or 3 jars of lotion for $13. That's a great price for handcrafted soap!

*Disclaimer-I received 2 small samples after deciding to write the post featuring Dagmar's Goat Milk Bath and Body Products. I would have written the post regardless of the receipt of samples. I received no monetary compensation or any other product in exchange for the post. The experience using the product was solely my own. Your own experiences may be different, depending on your preferences and skin needs.
