Business Spotlight: Define*Me Clothing Company

When I try to describe the cloth diapering industry to others, they are always surprised to learn that most cloth diaper companies were started by moms and are owned/operated by them still. Many of them started sewing for their own children and it grew from there.

Define*Me Clothing Company's beginnings remind me of that as well. Jennifer, the owner, loved personalized clothing for her own children, but wanted a better selection than what was currently on the market. The result was Define*Me, which offers a unique selection of personalized clothing with original designs.

Sizes range from 0-3 months to 4T. Jennifer plans to add larger sizes later this year. These absolutely adorable designs (I LOVE the alphabet soup one) are custom made-each shirt is made to order using Direct to Garment printing. This means that the image is dyed directly into the fabric so it is super soft and doesn't fade, peel or crack. Jennifer is also able to alter the colors and saying of each design for something truly one-0f-a-kind.

In addition to clothing, Define*Me also makes personalized baby blankets. There are organic shirts available, and the dyes are all water-based. With plans to add more organic items, designs and sizes, it's worth a visit to the site!
