Business Spotlight: Flying Fingers

Most of the time people send their business information for me to spotlight. Other times, I ask to write about great businesses. I happened upon Flying Fingers this past Saturday at a MayFair event and knew it was the perfect business to spotlight here!

Flying Fingers is a family owned and operated yarn shop. Elise, the owner had been knitting for many years and has passed the talent onto her children. When I visited their booth at the event, both Elise and her son Dillon were knitting away-flying fingers indeed! Every time I looked their way throughout the day, there were needles flying. They never seemed to stop!

In person, their knitted wares are even prettier than they are online. Elise was familiar with using wool soakers as cloth diaper covers. They most often recommend Brown Sheep's Nature Spun for knitting soakers.
Flying Fingers has a great selection of yummy yarns, notions, patterns and resources. Classes are available, and for those in the New York area, they even have a free Yarn Bus to take you from the city to their Westchester Tarrytown store.
Family-owned, resource-rich and friendly. What more could you want?
